This art book's 4"x8" pages are each illuminated by small LEDs controlled by a microprocessor. Sensors in the pages detect when they are opened, which triggers programmed changes in the lighting. For certain of these scenes, the light cycles according to patterns sampled from the natural movement of leaves in sunlight. The structure of the book permits the visitor to view in a panoramic mode, or to look through the various details in layers.
